Bondi and Bourke by Australian Executive Chef Patrick Mccarthy is finally here in Davao. The moment I saw the ad about this restaurant opening in Davao, I was greatly elated. So yay! Here’s my review:
The interior was intricately design for an exquisite restaurant. It’s homey, classy and I perfectly love every detail.
They have the restaurant in two floors and a corner for the bar.
We tried at least one of each course: soup, appetizer, main course and dessert. Everything was sumptuous and worth its price.
For dessert, we tried their wild berry pudding. It’s not too sweet (which I love), texture is great and taste is so distinct. And look at that! Very instagram worthy 😉
For main course, we tried their Norweigian Salmon and 6-hr roasted pork belly. The salmon was juicy and taste was exquisite! Not too salty, not too bland. The pork belly was so crispy, the meat was tender and tasted really good! The roasted squash and chili puree was something commendable.
We orderd Bourke for the salad. It’s made of mixed greens, shaved parma ham, goat cheese, citrus and almond. I do not know the dressing but I love it!
The melted brie, smoked bacon and fresh cream made this asparagus soup really delectable.
All the staff are friendly and attentive. They are also accomodating and smiling.
