The Best of Singapore with Singapore City Pass

Singapore is one of the world’s major commercial hubs, the fourth-largest financial center and one of the five busiest ports. Not to mention, Singapore has the world’s cleanest airport. I must say, it really is. I travelled with my friend, Lena. It is our first time in Singapore and we must commend: the people are so friendly; the place is so safe and the whole country is magical. Before we travelled to the Garden City of Singapore, we first did thorough research such as cheapest hotel, tour pass and tourist attractions. As a result, we found this very useful and beneficial Singapore City Pass (SCP). So what is this SCP? Singapore City Pass is a comprehensive and discounted tour pass. This city pass is powerful as this has everything a tourist needs. There are three types of passes as shown below:

As we are staying in Singapore for 5 days, we have chosen the 3-day-pass. This actually has a wide coverage of selection as compared to that of the other passes. Here is a list of all tourist attractions which the 3-day pass includes. For a more complete list of all passes, kindly browse www.singaporecitypass.com. FREE 1 way pick-up service from major city hotel The first service the SCP provides is the free one way pickup service from the major city hotel. This is actually availed on the first day and is actually asked when you booked your SCP tickets online.  From your hotel, a couch will pick you up and brings you to the Singapore Flyer wherein SCP office is located. From thereon, you will be briefed and given all the passes the SCP offers. Also, this is where you schedule your activities. Choose Three Attractions SCP

As noted in the table above, you only have to choose 3 attractions. So what we chose are (1) Universal Studios Singapore (2) S.E.A. Aquarium and (3) Singapore Flyer. Note that it is always up to you what attraction you will choose.

Universal Studios

Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is the most expensive tourist attraction from the list as it actually cost S$74.00 per person. Hence, we chose it right away.  Hahaha. Only here can you experience cutting-edge rides, shows, and attractions. Seven Unique themed zones will encircle a picturesque central lagoon. Each zone will feature distinctive architecture, landscaping, and entertainment offerings. There will be one-of-a-kind rides fro guests to enjoy, shows that make one laugh, and peaceful gardens to enjoy with family and friends, as well as retail and dining establishments. Never ever forget to ride the Transformers. We actually rode twice. With SCP, you need not to worry about going to and from the USS because when you purchase SCP the ride is absolutely FREE. Meeting place is at the Singapore Flyer where you will get your ticket. We actually used of the USS trip on our first day of our SCP.

S.E.A. Aquarium

S.E.A . Aquarium or also known as South East Asia Aquarium is the world’s largest oceanarium which cost S$38.00 if purchased separately. Be inspired by the myriad marine wonders which feature two world-class attractions – each promising an exclusive insight into the aquatic world. This is located just in front of Universal Studios. From the Singapore Flyer (meeting place), we availed of the FREE shuttle to USS. Then, before entering to USS, we first went to S.E.A. and toured around the place. S.E.A. Aquarium is plainly an oceanarium, unlike Hong Kong’s ocean park wherein it includes rides and other theme park attractions. So do not set your expectations high especially when you have visited Hong Kong. Haha.
